About Us
Yorkie Yappers is a group of Yorkie lovers and owners that joined a group through Yahoo! to better understand the breed and to meet others who had the same interest.
We absolutely love our dogs and enjoy sharing stories, giving tips, helping each other through difficult times, and just being friends. Yorkies are by no means our only interest, but it is our main one.
We also promote animal rescue and several members work with rescue groups. We advise everyone looking for a pet to check their local shelter or contact a rescue group. There are many out there in need of love and care. Do NOT buy your pet at a pet store! You are helping to fund puppymills!
We also promote spaying or neutering of your pet, regardless if it's a pure breed pup or not. Hundreds and thousands of animals are killed in shelters every year. We want to end this cruelty.
